About Us

Agile Shelties is located in the Fraser Valley, BC, Canada, where shelties are shown in CKC conformation, obedience, CKC and CARO rally-obedience, and USDAA, NADAC, CKC & AAC agility. This kennel name presents an opportunity to branch into a direction of versatility. Our aim is to continue with lines that amplify the breed standard, possess sturdy construction with balanced movement that get noticed in the show ring.

Agile Shelties is the vision of certified dog trainer and AAC Regional and National Master Judge. She was first certified as a dog trainer in 1999 by Canadian Pet Dog Trainers Assoc, and then the Animal Behavior Trainers Assoc. (ABTA - USA) in 2003. Also she was awarded 'Top Dog Trainer of the Year', 'Excellence In Training' and 'Most Sportsmanship' in 2006 by the ABTA She was a CKC Excellent level agility judge from 2003-2005. In 2008 she finished a Canadian Championship on a dog from her first home bred litter. Currently she competes with her own dogs in the competitive venues of conformation, agility (AAC, CKC, NADAC, & USDAA), obedience and rally-o. She keeps a small number of dogs, that live as pets and companions.
